Training Needs Assessment (TNA) atau analisis kebutuhan pelatihan adalah suatu langkah yang dilakukan sebelum melakukan pelatihan dan merupakan bagian terpadu dalam merancang pelatihan untuk memperoleh gambaran komprehensif tentang materi, alokasi waktu tiap materi, dan strategi pembelajaran yang sebaiknya diterapkan dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan agar pelatihan bermanfaat bagi peserta pelatihan.

Dari analisis ini akan diketahui pelatihan apa saja yang relevan bagi suatu organisasi pada saat ini dan juga di masa yang akan datang. Organisasi tidak dapat menentukan pelatihan begitu saja tanpa menganalisis dahulu kebutuhan dan tujuan apa yang ingin dicapai. Penilaian kebutuhan merupakan road map untuk mencapai tujuan organsasi. COURSE OVERVIEW:
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling of work orders is the hub of a well-functioning maintenance organization. In order for maintenance planning and scheduling to work, many other systems need to work well. Most importantly equipment inspections through preventive maintenance, technical database such as bill of materials, work order his-tory, and standard job plans. Maintenance spare part stores have to function well. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling is critical for every successful individual and company.
The focus are directed to concepts of Maintenance Management, establishing a healthy Maintenance program and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling procedures. Computer applications on maintenance planning and scheduling will be addressed too. Emphasis on various aspects of analytical techniques which have proved valuable in maintenance planning and scheduling. Most maintenance departments do not plan to fail, they simply fail to plan and therefore do indeed fail. The major reason behind failure to plan is that putting out today’s fires is given priority over planning for tomorrow – thereby insuring that future equipment failures will require reactive response. Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (PPM) is not conceived to put equipment in proper condition, but to maintain it in that condition from the time of acquisition or restoration. Proactive maintenance requires a cultural transition from a reactive to a proactive environment.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) for Diesel Engines

Introduction

Meeting the requirements of heavy-duty engine emissions regulations is a challenge for all engine manufacturers. Since the introduction of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) in medium and heavy-duty diesel engines, these systems have become more sophisticated and tightly integrated with emission control systems.

This 2-day seminar will explore the advantages and disadvantages of EGR and the most effective implementation of various EGR systems. This seminar will begin by defining EGR and why it is used in diesel engines, along with an explanation of the mechanisms by which EGR is able to reduce NOx. This seminar will then move into implementation of EGR systems and examples of these systems on medium and heavy-duty diesel engines. In addition, the impact of EGR on various engine components will be discussed and will include EGR coolers, valves and piping. Finally, a section will be devoted to the comparison between EGR and SCR and their future roles in reducing NOx emissions, as well as their impact on fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions. Emphasized in this comparison is the use of EGR in novel combustion systems and its ability to reduce emissions in-cylinder.

This 4 day training course addresses the Subsurface concepts of Chemical EOR. It will explain the displacement characteristics and design criteria for a Chemical EOR process. Through simple exercises the course participants will develop an understanding of the relevance of various parameters and appreciate the shortcomings of various techniques and how these could be addressed in a specific field application. Some of the main aspects of surface engineering will be highlighted, but this course does not discuss detailed aspects for separator design, material specification or facility lay-out solutions. Field cases will indicate the current state of affairs. Simple exercises will help to understand the various aspects.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is to summarize the state of the art of Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) technology. It included the example problems to illustrate the use of various theoretical solutions, it also listed an overview of conventional well productivity and Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) technology and is general introduction to the latest methods of  production optimization using ESP technology.

This course compiled as aid to engineers and production people in the Petroleum Industry who have the responsibility of planning and selecting electrically driven submersible pumping equipment. Included are fundamental principles involving sizing, operation and trouble shooting of submersible pump equipment. Also included are tables, data and general information which it will be value to everyone who utilize s submersible pumping equipment.

Much material of this course has been published previously and is reassembled in this course. However, there is also a considerable amount of new material included that will assist the participants of the course  in their pump selection and operation.

Designing a submersible pump installation is not an exact science; it is mostly an art. But it is a talent which can be easily acquired if care and attention are paid to what the well is telling us, and what we want to do with the well. The well conditions vary from one well to other, but the basic information required for a design does not. What we require from a particular well must, of course, be within the limits of the well in question.

Submersible pump design provided information required for analyzing the behavior of a productivity well interval using rod pump. This thus makes it possible to answer some fundamental questions:

(a) What is the well producing capacity?

(b) What fluids do they produce?

(c) At what flow rates?

(d) What is the submersible pump to use?

In this course, it has also included example problems to illustrate the use of various theoretical solution. Wherever possible, it has not only discussed practical difficulties that one may encounter while using the theoretical solutions, but it has also listed some of the method that one can used to obtain the desired information. It also included descriptions on field histories wherever they were available and trouble shooting using submersible pump.

This course is mainly directed to the practicing professionals who make engineering calculations and decision on submersible pump application and troubleshooting. For managers, the course helps to review the present state of the art. It also outlined some of new method in artificial technology exist today. These gaps in technology will be useful for research engineers and research professionals to determine the areas of future research.
