Industri ini memiliki beberapa tingkat rantai nilai yaitu eksplorasi dan produksi, pencairan, transportasi, serta penyimpanan dan regasifikasi. Bisnis LNG mengalami perubahan yang sangat dinamis dan kritikal seiring dengan perkembangan suplai dan permintaan energi dunia yang meningkat tajam. Hal ini menyebabkan kompetisi baik di sisi buyers maupun sellers. Posisi Indonesia sebagai negara ekspoter LNG terbesar dunia dalam waktu dekat akan mengalami tekanan baik dengan pemain baru, seller LNG seperti Australia, Qatar, Nigeria, Rusia dll maupun meningkatnya permintaan gas domestik.

OBJECTIVES

Deskripsi

Dalam menerima perusahaan kontraktor, perusahaan perlu melaksanakan sistem manajemen kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja terutama bagi perusahaan yang bergerak di pertambangan minyak dan gas. Hal tersebut penting karena bahan baku, proses operasional dan program evaluasi yang dikerjakan oleh pihak ketiga (kontraktor) dapat mempengaruhi kinerja dan reputasi dari perusahaan induk. Oleh sebab itu, baik supplier ataupun kontraktor perlu untuk membekali diri dengan CSMS agar memiliki keunggulan standar sebagai persyaratan lolos kualifikasi tender yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan penyedia. Di sisi lain, perusahaan pertambangan minyak dan gas perlu penerapan total dari perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja agar angka kecelakaan yang terjadi dapat diminimalkan. Semakin ketat desain sistem manajemen kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja diberlakukan oleh pihak kontraktor dan supplier maka akan semakin besar peluang perusahaan akan dipercaya.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The most important event in the operations of an oil and gas company is the discovery of reserves. Consequently, estimated reserves quantities are relied upon heavily in oil and gas accounting. For example, reserve quantities are used in computing depreciation, depletion, and amortization (DD&A) using the units-of-production method and for purposes of complying with disclosure requirements.

A deep understanding of expenditure that will be recoverable through cost recovery mechanism is a mandatory to avoid unnecessary losses in upstream operations. This course will explain the elements of costs that classified as recoverable costs, how to calculate and allocate amongst the products. Depreciation methods, capital and non-capital expenditures, tangible and intangible cost are example of items that will be elaborated in this course. The discussion will also cover First Tranche Petroleum (FTP), Before-tax contractor share, Cost Recovery, Profit Oil, Income Tax, Net Cash Flow, State Take, Domestic Market Obligation (DMO).

Training Drilling and Well Construction

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Drilling and well construction (probably one of the most expensive features of a geothermal direct use project) is often the least understood. This training will provides the basics of Equipment and methods used for drilling and completion of geothermal wells. It provides data needed by architects, engineers, and consultants to assist them in specification writing, selection of contractors, and drilling and completion inspection.

Most direct use geothermal wells can be drilled using conventional water well technology and equipment. Most of the wells will produce water at temperatures less than boiling and without artesian flow at the surface; however, some will be hotter or will flow. Blowout preventers and other sophisticated safety equipment are not usually required; however, this does not mean that there are not significant Safety considerations that should be addressed. Many of the wells have water above 140 0 F and this will scald. Public and drilling crew safety must be ensured. The cementing portion may appear to be overly detailed and long. However, the author’s view is that, all too often, Cementing is considered simply as a means of plugging up the annulus between the casing and borehole wall. Little attention is paid to methods and materials, and a poor cement job is the result. This can result in lost production zones, cold water leaking into production zones, geothermal water leaking into freshwater zones, and reduced useful well life. Also, in view of the increasing awareness and concern about inter-zonal Migration and possible fresh water aquifer contamination, proper cementing is of increasing importance.

Dr. Ir. Sudjati Rachmat, DEA was graduated from Petroleum Engineering Department of ITB in 1979 and hold Doctorate Degree with honored in 1987 from Ecole Centrale de Lyon I, France. The topic of his thesis is Modelisation Numerique d’Ecoulements Polyphasiques en Milieux Poreux. Application au Cas de Calcul des Champs de Pressions et de Saturations dans un Gisement de Petrole. For the time being, he became a lecturer in Petroleum Engineering Department of ITB. His subjects are Analysis and Numerical Method, Engineering Mathematics, Computer Simulation, Fluid Mechanic, Artificial Intelligence for Petroleum Engineering.

Mr. Sudjati also gave many courses to the community, such as: basic reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation, basic production engineering, down hole well testing, statistic and numerical method for petroleum engineering, basic log interpretation, etc. He is a member of some profession organization such as: IATMI, SPE/EIME, IMA, HAIAI, FPS-USA, INAGA, and IGA.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course provides an overview of the main water handling systems typically encountered in upstream (E&P) production operations, both onshore and offshore. The chemistry of the main water related problems of mineral scales, corrosion, bacteria, and oily water will be reviewed both from the theoretical and practical aspects. Produced water treatment equipment and typical water quality specifications will be reviewed as well as water injection and disposal systems. An exercise will be given to identify typical system problems and you will be able to apply the knowledge you gained to propose solutions. Emphasis will be placed on understanding and resolving operational problems in process equipment.
